Data Protection and Privacy Notice
I am a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) & Association of Family Therapy (AFT). I abide by each of their ethical frameworks to ensure that our work is both ethical and confidential. There are several instances where I would have to break confidentiality such as if I felt you may be at risk of harm to yourself of others, or if I am compelled to by a court of law.
Information held about you is considered "sensitive" and is safeguarded to ensure that it remains confidential. Brief Information is held in order to provide effective treatment, maintain accounting, and to meet professional codes. Your personal information will not be released without your express and informed consent. However, I will always do my utmost try to speak to you before any potential need to break confidentiality.
Sharing information about individuals with partner organisations is sometimes necessary in order to protect individuals if there are concerns, they may be at risk of significant harm and to keep those individuals and the wider public safe. Personal information may also be shared if there is a lawful reason to do so such as for crime prevention or detection purposes or where it is in the interest of maintaining public safety. The parent / carer/ spouse will normally be informed at the time the enquiry is made unless this could place you, or someone else at further risk or undermine a police investigation.
Information will be held within TIME2HEAL PSYCHOTHERAPY under strict protocols in accordance with the Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant legislation. Your information will be held securely by TIME2HEAL PSYCHOTHERAPY and will be destroyed once it is deemed that they are no longer necessary.
You have a right under the Data Protection Act (DAP) 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to request a copy of any information in your records held by TIME2HEAL Psychotherapy by putting your request in writing via email at corale@time2healpsychotherapy.com
Data Sharing regarding children and young people under 18 years old
Section 10 of the Children Act 2004 places a duty on key people and bodies to cooperate to improve the wellbeing of children and young people. This includes the proportionate sharing of information, where appropriate, to make the best decisions for children and young people at risk. Information will only be shared when absolutely necessary. This is to make sure that an appropriate, timely and informed decision is made by Time2heal psychotherapy about any services the child or young person may require and ensuring that they receive the best services outside of Time2healpsychotherapy
Personal Data
Personal data is any information that can be used to identify a living person either directly or indirectly. This includes names, addresses, contact details. it is covered by the GDPR.
INVOICING
You will be invoiced at the end of the month and expected to settle the payment immediately.
You can do this by bank transfer to the bank details that you will see on the invoice
CANCELLATION
• Cancelled sessions will be charged in full unless we receive notice via email. Please note we require 48 business hours’ (Monday – Friday) notice in order to cancel or rearrange your appointment without charge. This means that if your appointment falls on a Monday at 12pm, we need to receive notice by the previous Thursday at 12pm. Notice may be given via e-mail at corale@time2healpsychotherapy.com

LATE ARRIVAL
Late appointments are honoured, though you will still be charged the full rate. Your sessions are 50 minutes long and I will be waiting in the space regardless of the time you arrive, the space is yours until the end of the scheduled session time. Additional time requested beyond our session will be billed as a second hour of therapy at the same rate.
No-shows are charged the full rate for one session.
HEALTH INSURANCE COVER
If your treatment is being covered by private healthcare insurance, please be sure to obtain the appropriate authorisation number for treatment prior to coming for your session. If your policy does not cover the full cost of each session, you will be responsible for the payment of any fees not covered by your policy. It is your responsibility to check with your insurers of any amount that will not be covered by them.
